Silverdale Holiday Centre Welcome to Silverdale Holiday Centre
Silverdale Holiday Centre

Silverdale Holiday Centre is situated in the most beautiful part of the British Isles within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty overlooking Morecambe Bay.  The site is near Arnside and Carnforth on the boundary between Lancashire and Cumbria, and it is surrounded by limestone hills, salt marsh, foreshore fen, parkland and woodlands that have contributed towards the area being designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Biological Heritage Site and Local Nature Reserve.

Silverdale Holiday Centre is popular with many groups and organisations that use the centre as a base to explore the many local attractions and countryside.

This property is wholly owned and maintained by the registered charity, the Leeds

Children’s Holiday Camp Association. The charity was founded in 1904 to provide free residential holidays for disadvantaged children aged 7 to 11 years.  This unique and very worthwhile service continues to be provided today and 300 children each year enjoy time and space at Silverdale Holiday Centre to be themselves in an environment of fun and friendship.
